The Japanese-bred rose Seiryuu, created by Junko Kawamoto, is a charming floribunda with soft violet-pink blooms. Its petals are arranged in delicate wave.
Flowering begins early. The rounded buds open into blooms with pointed outer petals and a tightly curled centre. As the flower develops, its shape gradually changes: the numerous petals become strongly ruffled and curve gracefully around the attractive centre. Towards the end of flowering, the petals lift upwards, giving the bloom a fluffy, almost spherical appearance.
The rose is repeat-flowering, producing fairly large, fragrant blooms in clusters of three to five.
The bush grows up to 130 cm tall and is covered with large, matte, bright-green foliage.
