The lush, peony-shaped Queen's Crown rose is distinguished by its voluminous blooms, each composed of several hundred petals. As the flower opens, the petals unfold to reveal what appear to be three distinct centres, creating an exceptionally full and intricate bloom. The flowers measure 10–12 cm in diameter. Their petals are a rich lilac shade with elegantly ruffled edges.
The variety is virtually fragrance-free, producing only a very light, barely perceptible scent.
The bush grows to a height of 90–100 cm and features medium-sized, green, semi-glossy foliage. Queen's Crown offers excellent disease resistance and is winter hardy (USDA Hardiness Zone 6).
