Princess Meiko translates from Japanese as "Prospering," and indeed, the flower’s appearance speaks of prosperity and success. The bright pink, raspberry-colored blooms are peony-shaped, measuring 7-8 cm in diameter, with wavy petals reminiscent of a frilly skirt. The color remains stable throughout all stages of blooming and is resistant to both rain and sun.
The bushes are not very tall, reaching 80-90 cm, and feature dark green, waxy leaves. They respond very well to feeding and will reward you with very abundant and long-lasting blooms. Princess Meiko is winter-hardy and lasts 8 days in a vase.
