This is a tall, healthy, upright shrub that produces small clusters of full flowers in an impressive mix of violet, ruby, brown, and slate colors. Moderate fragrance. Full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form. The petals appear as thick layers of precious velvet, hand-folded. It has a pleasant fragrance and does not rebloom.
