An unusual rose by one of the most renowned Japanese breeders, Takunori Kimura. The rose is named after the beautiful Cecile from the novel "Dangerous Liaisons" by Choderlos de Laclos.
The pale-pink buds of the rose open into charming quartered flowers (8-10 cm) with a unique shape and a “green eye” in the center. The lovely petals of the rose display all shades of pink, creating the illusion of an open heart.
The fragrance is moderate. The rose has excellent repeat blooming. It features a compact, narrow growth habit, reaching 80-100 cm in height and up to 60 cm in width. The plant is resilient to adverse conditions and grows easily. It has good rain resistance, average heat tolerance, and is winter hardy with good disease resistance. Winter hardiness USDA Zone: 6
